That time of flipping year again

It's been a bit of a "humph" day today. It is February after all, what else should I expect, thought we were getting away with it lightly this year so far. I haven't achieved very much today at all and I'm really annoyed with myself as a result which doesn't make me feel any less "humph".
I did slip these jugs though which have been under plastic for what feels like an age. I'm glad they are done though looking at them again now makes me think "humph I could have done better than that".
A friend of ours just down the road here has started a blog - finally. A Mr. Adam Booth, architectural blacksmith, garden gates like you wouldn't believe. Have a nosey and see what he comes up with, with his track record it'll be nothing if it isn't entertaining.
Tomorrow I'm off for a long overdue meeting with a pair of scissors, no doubt that'll annoy me too, I hate having my hair cut, humph, might get rid of it all again, a number one all over I think although on second thoughts, humph it's too cold for that.

  1. I'm sorry you're having a 'humph' day... my day started out that way and then I had some strong tea and now I'm thinking I won't get to sleep tonight...

Go for the short hair! I just cut MOST of mine off, and yes... it's cold, but that's what woolly stocking caps are for. :)

  3. I did nothing all day either -I was supposed to be packing three lots of pots to send off to galleries but I just messed about all day (I hate packing) and didn't start packing until everyone else came back from school/work so now I'll have to finish packing today. I did write you a card though.

  5. Surely my hair has plenty colour already! What are you suggesting? A rainbow effect?
Tis 5" shorter than it was now, feels much lighter.
