Today's little bit of news is that there are some of my pots listed now, (finally, it's taken me an age to get around to sorting out the images and describing them properly) in the CPA's online shop. It's a fairly new venture for the Craft Potters Association and so far there aren't huge numbers of potters listed on there but I thought it would be a good place to get my pots seeing as I've been thinking about doing some online selling for a while but the etsy thing just hasn't grabbed me and I couldn't yet come up with anything that suited me properly from my own website. So once this gets into it's stride there could be a fantastic variety of work up there for people to be browsing. Here's to it's success!
CPA site is easy to navigate with clear photos. Hope it goes well.
ReplyDeleteIs that jug wood fired? It looks darker than usual
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteNo it's not, just very think slip, I like it.
What does wood firing do to earthenware? Does it make it darker? What I'm trying to say is why do earthenware potters want to go to all the trouble of wood firing?
