This morning I had a trip into Castle Douglas to decorate the big bay window at Low's newsagents. Drew who has the shop had offered me the window to use over the Spring Fling weekend to promote the event. So in between cleaning and dusting and putting up signs and sorting and tidying I set this up. Hopefully it'll catch a few people's eyes and get them heading out to our workshops.
Oooh men!
Here is the Jubilee Plate. It came out well.
Complete with crown and corgis.
Hope you like it.
Here's a couple of just snaps really of some of the mugs. I haven't had the chance to get them photographed which is a real shame, but what can you do? There's a limit to what you can do yourself in the time you have. Today has been silly busy, oh for an assistant / slave at these points in time.
So tomorrow is the start of Spring Fling, it runs till Tuesday this year. I hope by then that I will be finished faffing and flapping and everything will be neat and tidy and priced and looking at it's best but please bear with me if it's still a little chaotic.
There's lots of exciting and interesting studios open this weekend on top of the ceilidh and hog roast and wine tasting and bus tours and bike tours and guided walks and a Galloway cottage being wrapped in fitted upholstery fabric. (I haven't seen it yet but I plan to pop down one night).
Good luck with the Fling weekend. And that Jubilee plate is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE the Jubilee plate Hannah. Sorry not to see it for real during Spring Fling but glad you had such a good few days. x
